Do I need a complete smart home straight away?
No. A focused lighting, heating, doorbell, lock or leak-protection upgrade can stand alone and be planned so it can expand later.
Will everything stop if the internet goes down?
It depends on the product, but local control and sensible manual fallback are part of the design wherever practical. Any cloud-dependent features will be made clear before installation.
Can you work with devices I already own?
Often, yes. Existing equipment will be checked for compatibility and suitability before it is included in the proposal.
Will I need lots of different apps?
The aim is to centralise everyday control through Homey and automate routine actions. Manufacturer apps may still be kept for maintenance or specialist features.
