Set alarm

Your choice at the front door

Use the entrance button to set the alarm as you leave. On return, use Disarm alarm before entering.

Try either option. After setting the alarm, your phone will flag the open entry.

The routine pauses at the door for your choices.

Ready to head out?

Start the demonstration. Pause by the front door to choose Set alarm, then disarm when you return.

0s / 36s · pauses for your choices

You decide who comes in.

Camera detection brings awareness and lighting. It does not unlock the door or treat every visitor as an intruder. Your entrance button starts an exit delay; your chosen return control disarms the alarm. Disarming does not unlock the door.

Designed around your home.

Auto-lock, contact checks, alerts and lighting need suitable devices and a compatible setup. Only fitted sensors can report their status. This example arms and warns about open entries; some systems instead refuse to arm. The break-in example uses a window-opening contact; detecting vibration before opening needs a suitable additional sensor. Red lighting needs compatible colour lights. We agree the behaviour, exit delay and secure return control with you.

Smart access · Everyday reassurance

Be there. Even when you’re not.

A friend at the door. The dog walker arriving. Someone you trust checking a leak while you’re on holiday. You decide who comes in.

The visitor waits at the door until you choose.

🔒 Door lockedAlarm disarmedOwner at home

Your home. Your decision.

Answer the doorbell from your chosen screen and let a friend in without leaving the room.

Permission comes first.

The doorbell tells you someone is there. It doesn’t unlock the door. For the dog walker, choose “Disarm & unlock”. For the leak visit, the helper already has a temporary PIN and uses it at the keypad. Access and alarm arrangements have been agreed before they arrive. The door locks again after it closes.

Access arranged around you.

Remote access, door status and alarm control need compatible equipment and a suitable connection. Temporary PINs and their expiry depend on the lock. A PIN alone does not disarm an alarm; in the leak example, you have already disarmed it for the arranged visit. These are examples of an agreed setup. A leak alert shows water has been detected; letting someone in does not confirm the leak is fixed.

TWO SIMPLE WAYS TO START

Your home. More control.

Choose easier entry, connected security monitoring, or ask us to bring both together. Each example includes standard fitting, setup, testing and a demonstration.

SMART ACCESS · £320 INSTALLED

Your door, made easier.

Convenient entry for the family, flexible access for visitors and control when you are away.

A touch instead of a key

Use the external fingerprint reader or a personal PIN. We set up the entry methods you want and show your household how to use them.

Let someone in, wherever you are

Use the app to check the lock’s reported status and send a lock or unlock command through the included hub. Remote control requires internet access.

Welcome expected guests

Set up supported temporary access codes for visitors or trusted tradespeople. We explain the available code types and how to manage them.

Tap to unlock

Apple home key lets you use a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch after Apple Home setup. Apple equipment is not included.

A simple leaving routine

Close the door, lift the handle if your lock requires it, then use the keypad’s locking control. We can configure supported auto-lock behaviour where appropriate and test it with your door.

The retrofit unit turns the existing lock; it does not lift a multipoint handle. Reported lock status is not proof that the door itself is closed. Door-open monitoring needs a separate contact sensor.

Will it fit my door?

We check the door, cylinder, handle operation, alignment and available space before confirming the package. Standard fitting to a compatible, freely operating lock is included. Cylinder replacement, repairs, adjustments and other additional work are quoted separately. Further UK-door lock options will be added as we assess them.

SECURITY STARTER · ROUTINES INCLUDED

Fits around your day.
Looks out for your home.

We name your sensors clearly, agree which ones are active in each mode and show you how to change modes. Phone alerts need internet access and notification permissions.

01 / LEAVING HOME

Away mode

  1. Select Away in the app.
  2. The configured door/window and motion sensors become armed.
  3. A monitored opening or movement triggers the indoor alarm and a phone notification.

Useful monitoring while everyone is out. Entry and exit arrangements are agreed and tested during setup.

02 / TURNING IN

Night mode

  1. Press the configured bedside button or select Night in the app.
  2. Selected door and window sensors are armed.
  3. Hallway and landing motion sensors are excluded from this routine, so you can move around indoors.

An opening at an armed entrance triggers the indoor alarm and phone notification.

03 / BACK AT HOME

Home routine

  1. Choose the configured Home/disarm control in the app.
  2. The intrusion alarm is disarmed.
  3. Check monitored door and window status whenever you want.

Ordinary movement and opening doors will no longer trigger the armed intrusion routine.

“Did I leave a window open?”

Open the app and check the named contact sensors before leaving or going to bed. Contacts show open/closed status; they do not confirm whether a window is locked.

Want a timed door-left-open reminder or an automatic pre-departure check? We can assess the supported logic and include agreed additional routines in your quote.

SMART CAMERAS & VIDEO DOORBELLS

See the bigger picture.
Follow the detail.

Check the driveway, see who visited and keep an eye on the garden—from your phone. We plan camera coverage around your home, with useful alerts and recording that suits you.

Designed around your property

Priced after consultation

Camera choice, positioning, cabling, power and recording—all agreed before installation.

Plan my camera system

Check in from anywhere

Open a live view to check an entrance or outdoor area while you are away. Remote viewing needs an internet connection.

Find out what happened

Review saved footage when a delivery arrives or something unexpected happens. We agree the storage capacity and recording mode with you.

Alerts that matter to you

Supported person, vehicle and animal detection helps focus notifications on relevant activity. Detection zones and schedules can reduce unwanted alerts.

Speak, welcome or warn

Two-way audio lets you speak through a compatible camera or doorbell. Selected models add spotlights, floodlights or sirens as visible and audible deterrents.

REOLINK DUAL-LENS TRACKING OPTIONS

One wider view. One closer look.

Selected Reolink cameras combine a wide-angle lens with a telephoto lens, giving you a broader view and a closer view of detected activity at the same time. Automatic pan-and-tilt tracking follows a supported moving subject within the camera’s coverage.

WIDE-ANGLE VIEW

Understand the scene

See the surrounding area and where activity is happening.

CLOSER TRACKING VIEW

Follow the subject

Get a closer view as a detected person, vehicle or animal moves.

Both lenses on TrackMix and TrackFlex move with the camera head; the wide view is not a separate fixed camera watching the whole property. We plan overlapping coverage where needed.

DUAL VIEW + TRACKING

Reolink TrackMix

Wide and closer views with automatic tracking. PoE and Wi-Fi options let us select the right connection for your installation.

CAMERA + OUTDOOR LIGHTING

Reolink TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi

Dual-lens tracking with adjustable floodlighting up to 3,000 lumens. A useful option for driveways and gardens where you want both lighting and camera coverage.

Requires suitable mains wiring and Wi-Fi coverage.

WIDE, FIXED COVERAGE

Panoramic camera options

Selected Reolink Duo cameras combine two lenses into a wide panoramic image—useful for broad driveways or gardens. This is a different approach from a camera that turns to follow a subject.

Useful camera routines

Someone enters the driveway → supported person detection triggers recording and a phone notification.

Movement after dark → a suitably equipped camera switches on its light; an optional siren can be configured.

A visitor presses the doorbell → receive an alert, open the live view and speak to them through a compatible video doorbell.

Features depend on the model and agreed setup. Linking cameras to separate smart lights, locks or security modes is an additional integration, assessed and quoted separately.

Wired, Wi-Fi or battery-powered?

PoE cameras use one Ethernet cable for power and data. Wi-Fi cameras still need a power source. Battery and solar-assisted options can suit locations where cabling is difficult; recording behaviour, charging and placement are model-dependent. We choose the approach after assessing your property.

Can I record locally without a monthly camera subscription?

Yes—suitable Reolink systems can record to a memory card or compatible recorder without a cloud-storage subscription. Storage equipment is included in your individual quote. Optional cloud services, where available, are separate. Continuous recording requires a supported camera, power arrangement and storage system; it is not assumed for every battery camera.

What will my camera quote include?

We agree camera numbers and views, day/night performance, cable routes, power, recording/storage, app setup and notification preferences. Mounting height, access, network coverage and any additional work affect the price. We also agree viewing angles and available privacy masking to focus coverage on the areas you need.

Reolink options available, with other compatible brands considered during consultation. Exact models and features are confirmed in your quote. Cameras and recording equipment are separate from the £320 access and £420 security packages.

OPTIONAL UPGRADES · QUOTED SEPARATELY

Security is just the start.

Build on your starter system as your needs grow. We select compatible equipment and agree each connection before installation.

A welcome after dark

A door contact opens after sunset → compatible hallway lighting turns on. Add smart lighting so coming home feels effortless.

Explore smart lighting →

A lived-in look while you’re away

An agreed holiday lighting schedule → selected lights switch on and off in the evening. Requires compatible lighting and setup; it is not included in the security starter.

Help reduce wasted heating

A window remains open → compatible room heating pauses or reduces. Once closed, the agreed heating routine resumes. Heating integration is assessed separately.

Explore smart heating →

Water and alarm notifications

Add leak sensors for an alert when water reaches them, or connected smoke/heat alarm notifications. Connected alerts supplement suitable alarms and their local warning.

A more discreet finish

Ask about concealed door and window monitoring for a bespoke smart home. Sensor choice, frame suitability and the control platform are assessed together.

GOOD TO KNOW

Your questions, answered.

Is the £420 package a monitored burglar alarm?

It is a self-monitored smart security system with an indoor audible alarm and app notifications. It is not sold as a graded or professionally monitored intruder alarm, and does not include an external siren, monitoring service or emergency response.

Does a three-bedroom home always need eight sensors?

No. The package includes eight contact sensors and two motion sensors as an example allowance. We assess the actual entrances, opening windows and layout. Extra opening sections may need extra sensors; additions are quoted before fitting.

What happens if the internet or power goes off?

Remote access and phone alerts need internet access. Configured local sensor-to-hub alarm functions can continue without internet while the hub remains powered. The starter package has no backup power or mobile-data backup.

Is there a monthly subscription?

No subscription is required for the listed starter security routines or basic smart-lock controls in the supplied app. Optional camera storage or third-party services may have separate charges, explained when those extras are quoted.

What does standard installation require?

Suitable sensor mounting surfaces, adequate wireless coverage, compatible Wi-Fi, a smartphone and nearby power for the hub. Smart access also requires a suitable door and lock. Repairs, replacement cylinders, additional wiring and signal-extension equipment are quoted separately.

Can you combine the lock, sensors, lighting and heating?

Yes, we can design a compatible combined installation. Shared routines and hub choices are assessed as a complete system. The two example packages do not automatically include cross-system automations or a shared hub.

Can I use this with pets?

Tell us about pets before we plan motion-sensor positions. The included sensors are not advertised as pet-immune, and we may recommend different coverage or equipment.
